If the Democrats win, Sell. It’s why the English left the EU. You think Wells Fargo is an exception? Wells’ shareholders have been brutally punished for years by Democrat ‘sister’ Maxine Waters, Chair of the House Financial Services Committee, for no fault of their own. I as a Wells Fargo shareholder and retiree have been a whipping boy for the Democrats, have lost more money than those accountholders (they have all long been made good). The CEOs who caused the mess are long gone, but Chair Waters won’t let up. There is a hatred and a jealousy. Very few households in Socialist Europe own stocks (OECD HFCS SURVEY 2017), because under Socialism stocks are a Fools Game. Socialist politicians in Europe openly condemn shareholders and describe investing in stocks as devils work. Many EU publicly traded companies are controlled by unions (as though they were still State-owned enterprises), and cronyism comes before shareholders‘ profits. Many shareholders have been burned. That’s why the EURO STOXX 50 is now still on the same level it was in 1999. Wells is the canary in the coal mine. Kamala and Maxine, will make sure Wells is not the only stock going down the well. The Democrats currently have control over Banking, soon they may have control over all sectors of the economy. Wells is only the beginning. Look at the French, Austrian, Italian and Spanish markets, no gain in 20 years, since around the time stocks first became accessible to the general public in Europe. There is no such thing as 401(k) in the EU, no “Wealth Effect”, no savings for retirement. It wouldn’t make sense. If Kamala wins, the S&P500 will still be at 3000 in 20 years time, at best. Stocks for the Long Run? Not under Kamala Harris and Maxine Waters. Just look at Wells, down 55% and once considered the best investment by Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger.
