While progress clearly is being made toward gender equality in the workplace, pay gaps between men and women in similar jobs continue to exist in every country. For all the fine words, much remains to be done before gender parity is achieved.

Surveys – including those conducted by my own organization – consistently show that business leaders understand the need for equal treatment of men and women in the workforce.
