A Mexican Impasse for the Pope
When Pope Francis holds mass just south of the US-Mexico border next week, he will almost certainly urge support for immigrants who have headed north. He should also take the opportunity to advocate for the five billion people in the world who lack documented property rights.
LIMA – On February 17, Pope Francis is scheduled to celebrate Mass in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, just south of the border with the United States. He will surely take that opportunity to urge support for the poor in Mexico and for those who have migrated north.
