Mehrsa Baradaran
Mehrsa Baradaran is Professor of Law at the University of California, Irvine, specializing in financial regulation. She is the author of How the Other Half Banks: Exclusion, Exploitation, and the Threat to Democracy (Harvard University Press, 2015), The Color of Money: Black Banks and the Racial Wealth Gap (Harvard University Press, 2017), and, most recently, The Quiet Coup: Neoliberalism and the Looting of America (W.W. Norton & Company, 2024).
