Narendra Modi’s election as India's Prime Minister was widely hailed as marking the advent of a more business-friendly government in the country. But with many of Modi's supporters obsessed with so-called “cultural nationalism” – essentially just repackaged Hindu chauvinism – the outcome is far from certain.
